Here is the first drill you learn at the Jun Fan class phase 1 at the Inosanto Academy:
Stand in ready stance facing your partner. Your partner extends his arm. Your goal is to hit the hand. Whenever your partner sees you move, he moves away his hand, so you donīt hit his hand. Your partner is your trainer, i.e. he has to tell you what it was he saw.
